Price
The price of our goods is set out on the website and on confirmation of the order, or negotiated between us after we have been contacted.
The price stated is in pounds sterling (Great Britain)
We do not accept any other currency.
We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice.
Sales Agreement
Once you enter all of the personal contact information and click the "confirm order" button on the order confirmation page the order will be considered legally binding.
You will receive order confirmation after the order process has been completed.
The sales agreement is valid as soon as the delivery confirmation has been sent.
If you do not receive order confirmation or the delivery within two (2) weeks, you are legally no longer bound to your purchase.
All products, services and prices shown in our online shop do not constitute legally binding offers.
Payment Methods
You may pay for your products by the methods of payment displayed on the payment section of the Lake Renewable Energy Systems website.
Lake Renewable Energy Systems obtain approval from the credit card company for the amount of the order.
The Lake Renewable Energy Systems Store currently accepts, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and Paypal.
You must pay the price payable in British pounds sterling as indicated on your order confirmation.
We use PayPal to allow you to purchase merchandise online using any major credit card or bank checking, you do not have to be a paypal customer to use this service. We want you to order with confidence and peace of mind knowing that your credit card number and details remain secure and private.
All payments will be made over a secure encrypted connection so credit card numbers and private details cannot be stolen in transit, this is as secure as online ordering can be.
PayPal's service builds on the existing financial infrastructure of bank accounts and credit cards and utilizes the world's most advanced proprietary fraud prevention systems to create a safe real-time payment solution.
Lake Renewable Energy Systems will email or post your invoice to you at the billing address indicated on your order confirmation when we ship your products to you.
Your invoice will be your proof of purchase.
Cheques or Money Orders
The Lake Renewable Energy store accepts money orders, personal and company cheques as valid forms of payment. If you wish to pay by cheque or money order then the cheque or money order must be payable(UK £ sterling) to ''Lake Renewable Energy Systems'' and include your web order number and/or a copy of your order. Retention of Title
The goods delivered remain the property of Lake Renewable Energy Systems until full payment has been received.
Delivery
Once your order has been confirmed by us and payment completed, your goods will be dispatched as soon as possible, we aim to process and dispatch orders within 48 hrs of receipt.
Goods are normally delivered within three to five working days through the Royal Mail parcel service. We will not be liable for any losses incurred by the buyer for failure to deliver by a particular date.
Allow up to 10/14 days for goods dispatched directly from the manufacture, unless we give you written notification of delays in dispatch.
Royal Mail standard £34.00 compensation applies to each package, we strongly advice additional postal insurance for more expensive items.
Lake Renewable Energy Systems cannot be held responsible for late / lost items in the post; proof of postage will be made available in lost item claim.
Goods delivered direct from the manufacturer are postage paid, this does not apply to items delivered outside of the UK mainland where an additional charge will be made, please request additional information from our customer service dept.

If the courier has attempted but was unable to deliver your item/s and has left a card you must contact the couriers direct. If the delivery is refused for any reason then you will be liable both for the original delivery and the subsequent return costs. If we have had an item returned due to non communication on your part, incorrect /incomplete address then you will be responsible for the original delivery, return delivery and the subsequent return costs.
Partial Deliveries
We have the right to make partial deliveries when some items are out of stock and will despatch the out of stock items as soon as we have them with no extra charge for delivery. We will contact you to confirm the status of your order.
Cancellation Rights
You may withdraw from the sale within 7 days without any justification, as long as you send your cancellation in writing (letter or e-mail)
If you cancel your order you must take care of the goods and return them to us complete, unused, in 'as new' condition, and must be returned with the original box, packaging and accessories. If we find that a product has not been returned to us in a fully re-saleable condition, or the packaging is damaged, then we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item or deduct up to 30% of the original selling price. This does not affect your statutory rights. Return the goods in the original packaging at your own expense by recorded delivery within 30 days of cancelling the order.
Whilst the goods are in your possession you will be liable for the cost of repairing any damage.
The time frame for the return of goods begins once you have received the goods.

Damage / Faulty goods on delivery
The Buyer shall inspect the Goods immediately upon receipt and shall notify lake renewable energy by email: customerservice@lake-renewable-energy.com, within 2 working days of delivery if the goods are damaged or do not comply with any of the contract. If the Buyer fails to do so the buyer shall be deemed to have accepted the goods. We will provide you with full return details. You must take care of the goods and return them to us in the original packaging.
Product Warranty
All of our goods have a manufacturer's supported warranty, should your product fail within the manufacturer’s warranty period you must notify us by either writing (letter or email)

Installations
Lake Renewable energy System is not responsible for any typographical errors, and is not responsible for or liable for errors in installations. Our company offer guidelines, installation are the responsibility of the installer / licensed technical installer.
Extent of Liability
We make every effort to ensure that the good advertised for sale on lake renewable energy website are described accurately.
The description of the goods on the website does not form part of the contract between the customer and lake renewable energy systems.
You the customer should ensure that the goods purchased from lake renewable energy system are suitable for the intended purpose.
Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which may not otherwise be limited or excluded under applicable law.
Subject to the above, Lake Renewable Energy Systems will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information on the site but makes no representation or warranty of any kind express or implied statutory or otherwise regarding the contents or availability of the site or that it will be timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, reliability of the website. Lake Renewable Energy Systems will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the website and Lake Renewable Energy systems accepts no liability of any kind for any loss or damage from action taken or taken in reliance on material or information contained on the site.

Lake Renewable Energy Systems cares about your privacy. All information we hold remains confidential.
The only data we will pass on to third parties will be essential to the processing of your order.

Standard Delivery Costs
Delivery charges are determined by weight*, so when items are added to the shopping trolley we calculate how much the trolley weighs in total and how much it will cost to deliver.
Our minimum charge is £1.37 and maximum for up to 15Kg is only £4.99*
Your order will be delivered by either the Royal Mail or heavier parcels by Courier Service.
A signature is required by the courier service, if no one is available to take the delivery a card will be left so that you can re-arrange an alternative delivery time.

We will usually dispatch your order within 24-48 Hours.
Royal Mail parcels deliver Monday to Saturday. Courier service delivers Monday to Friday.
Please allow 3-5 Working Days for delivery.
Orders may be despatched directly from the manufacturer these usually take between 7-10 working days for delivery. Multiple order items may be dispatched separately.
Free Delivery Items.
Our Free delivery service items usually takes between 3-5 working days. Free delivery on Direct Dispatch items takes between 7-10 Working days.
Free delivery service is only available to locations in mainland England,Wales and Lowland Scotland not the Highlands and Islands of Scotland . Northern Ireland and Islands within the British Isles are all subject to a delivery charge.
An additional charge may be applied to the following post code area's depending on the goods being delivered .

We deliver to all of Western Europe. We do not deliver to countries outside of the EU.
Delivery within the EU is dependant on weight and are calculated as shown in the delivery rate table above, deliveries within the EU should take no longer than 14 Working days.

The Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations
Under the Waste Battery Regulations, Lake Batteries are now offering a take back scheme for all portable waste batteries
You can return your waste batteries in person by appointment only, please contact us on 01914784641. (please do not post).
Alternatively, you can find your local waste portable battery recycling facility at www.recyclenow.com
Most supermarkets and shops that sell batteries will have collection bins for used batteries, and some town halls, libraries or schools may also set up collection points. End-users may find stores in their local area more accessible.

Why recycle?
Unwanted electrical equipment is the UKs fastest growing type of waste.
Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and also human health.

To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin.
What is WEEE?
The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. Those establishing their own take-back scheme must as a minimum offer all customers buying new electrical equipment free take back of their old electricals on a like-for-like basis.
