Jon.(Cumbria)

Q . I have had set of 4 solar garden lights for 3 years ,up until this summer the lights were working fine , now there are only two working , is it possible to get them repaired as they were a good quality light ?

A. Hi Jon, A lot of the modern solar garden lights are fitted with 'AA' rechargable batteries , the most probable cause of your problem being that these batteries have expired and now need replacing , look in the body of the light , if there is a battery compartment, remove the existing batteries and replace with new ones, test the light with the new batteries by placing your hand over the light sensor. If this does not solve the problem give the light a good checking over for damage or even corrosion of the components due to weather and possible water ingress.  we now supply AA Nicad batteries , please contact our customerservice@lake-renewable-energy.com for further detail , alternatively if all fails and you need replacement lights please visit our garden lighting section . Good Luck.
