10 W Istar solar panel is composed of 36 high efficiency polycrystalline solar cells . New Ultratron® technology on all the modules IS series have greater credit and an higher power output.

Details:

The photovoltaic modules IS10, IS20 and IS40 are composed of 36 high efficiency polycrystalline solar cells (42,5x42,5 mm, 85x42,5 mm and 85x85 mm) with antireflecting coating.
They have a power of 10Wp, 20Wp and 40Wp respectively.

Thanks to the New Ultratron® technology developed by Istar Solar® all the modules IS series have greater credit and an higher power output.

This enable us to guarantee very good module performances, power and working conditions even if in lower sunlight levels worldwide.

They are also provided with a waterproof junction box with connecting terminals and two PG9 cable glands for easy interconnections.

The lightweight Istar Solar® modules IS series have been designed for applications in developing countries, as for example DC loads, remote telemetry, lighting, security signals, battery charging, as well as for camping and many other small applications worldwide.

These modules are made of solar cells encapsulated between sheets of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), highly transparent, antishock, tempered glass which protects the modules against mechanical and climatic effects, such as hail, ice, etc..

The white tedlar back sheet contributes to a further protection of the module and the electrical contacts against the action of climatic agents like humidity.
Furthermore the strong anodized aluminium frame (3,5cm thick) with corners and 4 pre-drilled mounting holes makes the modules extremely easy to install.

Moreover they are made only with highly qualified and certified materials, thus making these products reliable and long lasting, with a typical lifetime of over 25 years.
