RUTLAND 504 WIND GENERATOR
The Rutland 504 is a 510mm ‘Safety turbine’ with its single injection moulding of 6 aerofoil blades protected by an outer ring wind that is ideal for trickle charging batteries.
A particularly quiet turbine with the unique Rutland alternator accumulates more energy than comparable wind generators available - Rutland wind chargers spin in the lightest of breezes generating greater ampere hours in real wind conditions than turbines of equal and larger diameter.
The Rutland wind charger converts the free and abundant power in the wind to power stored in your batteries and is one of the most popular marine-grade turbines available thousands in worldwide use on inland boats, Motor Cruisers, motor home and caravans.
Made from modern, durable materials for reliability on the high seas, manufactured to high standards in an ISO 9002 Factory.
Rutland 504 Windchargers are designed to be used on Inland boats, Motor Cruisers, Caravans & Motor homes.
Features
The New 504 Features new aerodynamic styling.
A sharper nose dome to improve the flow of wind to the turbine.
A longer tail fin to improve the orientation of the turbine to wind and maintain stability.
Efficient power conversion – Rutland Wind chargers generate greater ampere hours In real wind conditions than turbines of equal and often larger diameter! that’s because between gusts, the unique high inertia alternator designsmaintain momentum with a flywheel effect where other units stall.giving more free power generated.
Rutland Wind chargers are the lowest cost per watt of power generated. Not only is the generator efficient but volume production for worldwide customers and in-house manufacturing at Marlec ensures that they deliver a consistently high quality at an affordable cost.
Low friction 3-phase alternator gives a smooth and silent output. The low wind speed start up means power is almost continuously produced and certainly in the most typical conditions as well as being powerful in higher winds.
Trickle charges in windspeeds as low as 5 knots
Compact turning radius of just 304mm & 360 degree free rotation on the mounting pole
Benefits
No radiated interference. Complies with EEC Directive 89/336/EEC
Giving direct savings on fuel costs and engine maintenance owing to reduced engine running time.
Security of power for essential appliances.
Keeping Batteries fully charged.
Low wind speed start up of just 5 Knots.
Generates 25W @ 19 knots,
6W @ 10 knots and up to 80W.
